Free Cosmetic Surgery for Deformed Children
Children are the greatest of all the wealth one can possess.  Healthy children make the house a happy home.  If a child is born with any deformities, the parents and relatives are  so much worried and emotionally upset.  Children are born with many types of congenital anomalies.  The main causes are hereditary, consanguinous marriage, intake of certain drugs by the pregnant mother during the first trimester.

Cleft lip and Cleft palate are the most common congenital anomalies.  One child our of 700 live births born with Cleft lip and palate. The children with these defects face the following problems:

  • Facial deformities
  • Unable to take feeds properly
  • Defective Speech
  • Nose, Upper lip deformities
  • Alueolus and teeth malformation
  • Ear infections
Surgical correction of Cleft lip is usually done of 2 to 3 months of are and Cleft palate repair is done at 9 to 12 months of age.

Rotary Club of Coimbatore Midtown and Sri Ramakrishna Hospitals, Coimbatore have jointly come forward to do FREE COSMETIC SURGERY for these handicapped children and ensure the child leads a normal healthy life physically and mentally.
